I want to write and thank-you to give credit where much credit is due. I saw you for a follow up appointment after my annual exam where you found suspected precancerous cell growing on my cervix. At both exams you were very personal andprofessional. You were extremely informative, honest, caring compassionate and straight forward. You answered all my questions 100%. You were very comforting to me at a time when I was in need of much reassurance. I can not emphasize enough how much I appreciated being treated like a person, not a customer to the practice. I can’t praise you enough and have recommended you to many of the women I know because you were so extremely helpful and more important, cautious. Fortunately my cervix is healthy so thank-you for taking such good care of me.

After 3 years and two different practices, I was fortunate to find you. You did for me in matter of months what two doctors couldn’t in three years, simply because you gave me quality time. My problems were numerous and complex and could not have been diagnosed and treated in the typical ten minute office visit. You even took the time to call and check on my progress between visits. I am grateful for your persistence to getting to the root of my problems and getting me back on track. You practice medicine the way it should be, making the patient the number one priority and giving the quality time needed. Medical Care has become a booming business and it’s more profitable to see several patients in an hour’s time than one. Had you had not given me the time you did, I know that my health problems would have escalated causing more serious ones. If you ever leave this practice I will have no problem going any distance to be your patient. Thank-you again for everything!

In the past 22 years I have seen numerous GYN physicians. You have outperformed any GYN by leaps and bounds in many ways. Thank-you for your genuine concern for me and your patients. You are more thorough in your examinations than any other doctor I have seen. You take the time to talk to women and educate them about their bodies and diagnoses. You demonstrate more current knowledge than any other doctor I’ve been to. You are a woman’s woman, meaning you possess the knowledge of a physician, the concern of a mother and can talk to a woman as a friend. You are a woman’s advocate. The past few years women have had to fight harder and harder to get good care especially because managed care has driven the quality of medical care downward. That said however, this has not been the case regarding the care you have given me. In fact the quality of your care is far above any I have ever experienced and I just want to thank-you from the bottom of my heart.

I wish to thank you for a stunning addition, Ms. Eve Jacobs She certainly is an asset to your practice. Along with her technical knowledge, she brings a real humanness to the table. As the movie critics Siskel and Ebert use to say, “I give her two thumbs up”

Although I have never written a letter to a medical professional, I wanted to thank-you for the excellent care you gave me during my first visit today. As you know from our conversation, I have mixed feelings about the medical field today, particularly in regards to women’s health care. Your professionalism and honesty were refreshing. It was wonderful to speak with someone who listened to me, educated me and was so easy to talk with. This was the first time I felt I could talk about some of my fears and misconceptions, and get real answers. I appreciated your ability to educate me without making me feel uncomfortable. Thank-you so much. You are a credit to your profession.

Please accept my sincerest gratitude for the time you spent with me yesterday. I have never met a medical professional who “cared” so much , especially concerning a first time patient. Your knowledge and candidness utterly impressed me. You managed to dispose of 6 months of worry in one hour! I’m sure you sensed my concern from the moment I entered your office, but by the time I left, I not only felt comfortable with you, but you had me laughing harder than I have in some time. My first meeting with you was just all together wonderful! Thank-you for the literature and references, thank-you for your honesty and most of all, thank-you for your genuine concern.

I have been a grateful patient of yours for many years and just want to thank-you again. At age 46 and having lived in many places and seen many different OB/GYN’s for care, I think you are simply by far the best!! The care you give is of the highest quality and you have a full range of knowledge about women’s healthcare issues and understand a woman’s feeling regarding those issues. I feel your genuine concern for your patients and you give me the deserving time and attention I need. I never feel rushed as I have with some many other clinicians. You really listen to my concerns, answer all my questions, and help alleviate any fears I may have. I feel like your time is mine and I can talk to you about anything. I am especially nervous because of my family history with my sister’s diagnosis of ovarian cancer . You sent me off to a risk assessment program and developed a regular schedule of cancer screenings for me including the colorflow Doppler, blood tests and office visits so you can monitor me frequently for a possible early diagnosis of cancer. I feel secure knowing that everything is being done to detect any changes early. I appreciate you calling me promptly with any test results and whenever I call you with questions, appreciate you returning my calls quickly. You give me true peace of mind. I feel so fortunate to have met you years ago at another practice. I just wanted to once again share my appreciation after my last ] visit for your expertise, caring ways and people skills.

First I want to thank all of you for your medical expertise and treatments these past six years. Each of you, in your own way has been professional yet courteous and kind during my long history with your practice.I particularly want to comment on Eve Jacobs’ professional demeanor and approach. I am impressed with the way she combines her knowledge and expertise with all the genuine warmth and concern inherent in her personality. She is indeed an asset to your practice adding a dimension of the professional, caring woman from whom many patients, I am sure, receive consolation and hope—from someone who could literally be in their position. On my own I have found great consolation within informal and formal support groups of women who have been challenged by infertility and/or miscarriage. Thus I support any effort by your practice to hold groups for interested patients to get together for conceptual and emotional support. Thanks again.
